June races

As the temperatures started to rise, running races started to feel a little bit different, but it didn't stop club members from competing in a number of races.

The month was rounded up with six runner competing in the tough Lairig Ghru - over 42 km and 640m of climb - on a blustery day with a record field for the event.  Ian Sills finished 20th in 3:56:39, James in 4:09:18, Rhona 4:14:54 (3rd lady), Lee 4:28:26, Brian 4:41:32 and Mary 5:05:32.
A lot of miles and a few pairs of worn out running shoes no doubt.  Well done again.
