A Wee Dash.......

The Milnathort Dash is organised by Kinross Road Runners, and is our
annual race for those that love hills but prefer not to be off road.
It's only 5.4 miles but the views are worth the effort. The event is
open to runners aged 16 or over on the day of the race. The race is
run under UK Athletics Rules and is a scottishathletics permit event.

Entries are through Entry Central and are also permitted on the day of
the race until we reach our limit of 150. The cost is £7 for those
affliliated to Scottish Athletics and £9 for those who are not. There
is a £2 surcharge for entries on the day. Registration opens at 6.30
pm in Orwell Church Hall and the race starts at 7.30 p .at the bottom
of Wester Loan, Milnathort, adjacent to the Town Hall.

Health and Safety - Clear route maps will be posted at Registration.
The route is well signposted, but it is on public roads and farm
tracks. The organisers are being assisted by a number of voluntary
marshals. The safety of all is paramount and it is a condition of
entry that competitors must follow the instructions of the marshals.
All runners must enter emergency contact details on the back of their
number.

There are cash prizes in all runner categories as well as a team prize
for ladies and men. Spot prizes will also be handed out in the finish
area. Prizes for Queen and King of the hill will be awarded to the
first female and male respectively to reach the top of the first hill

Full results will be available at www.kinrossroadrunners.co.uk.

Facilities - There are toilets but no changing facilities at
Registration. Car Parking is available on public roads and is limited
so car sharing is recommended. There is one water station on the
route and drinks are available at the finish. Refreshments will be
available in Orwell Chursh Hall after the race.
