At last, website up-and-jogging at www.kintyrewayrelay.co.uk with

perhaps one or two people having a go at the new ultra options (45
miles and 35½ miles).

Mabie Forest 10K

This event is only in its 4th year, with the hope to establish it as a
race of choice for existing trail runners and also those new to the
event.

The event is to be held in Mabie Forest which is situated 4 miles
south of Dumfries, off the A710.

Parking and refreshments will be available at Mabie Forest, which also
offers superb facilities for Mountain Biking, Forest Walks and

It is entirely in the confines of the forest and the course is on forest track.

The event is held on Sunday 10th June and starts at 11am. Entry fees
are £13 (unattached) and £11 (SAL/UKA)

Entries are open and you can choose to enter on line via runners world:

Balfron 10k 2012

This year's Mulberry Bush Montessori Balfron 10k takes place on Sunday
22nd April 2012 at 11am.

First run in 2007 (as the Co-operative Balfron 10k), this event has
proved extremely popular with runners of all abilities. The
officially measured course, chip-timing, winners prizes and
professional organisation appeal to the most serious runners, whilst
the friendly atmosphere, traffic-free route and excellent goody bags
including commemorative medal and T-shirt make it a great race for the
more casual runner and even first-time 10k-er.

This is a rural road 10k on an undulating route with in excess of 500
runners expected again this year. Online entries are now open at
www.balfron10k.org.uk or download an entry form and post it in.
Subject to availability, entries will be accepted on the day, but
early advance entry is advised to ensure a place and a guaranteed
medal and T-shirt.

There will also be various stalls and entertainment for spectators, as
well as an excellent café, so feel free to bring support with you too!

If you require any additional information then please contact Colin
Mendham on 01360 440 175 or 07834 096 888 colin@balfron10k.org.uk

All proceeds raised from this event are being donated to the local
primary and secondary schools and Crossroads Scotland.
