Welcome to the Dunbar Running Club Website.

ABOUT THE CLUB

Our adult members cover a broad range of ages and abilities. We compete in races ranging from 5k to marathons and over. The junior runners do cross country running in the winter but also compete in track and field events in the summer months e.g. in the Forth Valley League competition. Junior Section Website HERE

If you live in the Dunbar area then why not pop down to give the club a try.

We meet every Tuesday and Thursday at Hallhill Healthy Living Centre. You can get a map of where it is here.

Race start times are as previous years. Junior races start at 11:30 and senior races start at 12:00 (may be slightly later if junior races overrun). Runners are advised to turn up early for the first race to help ease congestion at registration.

Costs for the 2009/2010 series are £12 for seniors and £6 for juniors. This is a one off payment that enters the athlete for all six races.

 Note:

This series has become increasingly popular in recent years and runners are reminded that an influx of runners into small communities can cause parking problems. Runners are asked to share transport wherever possible and to park vehicles considerately. As ever, runners are asked to act with consideration for local residents. Runners should also be aware that changing and toilet facilities may, in some cases, be spartan”.
